When the weather outside is frightful…it makes a chic and snowy New York City wedding THAT much more delightful! Whitney and Taylor tied the knot last December in an elegant winter wedding held at the iconic Bryant Park Grill in downtown Manhattan. Relying on an elevated holiday colorway of navy and gold, the couple added sophisticated holiday accents and classic NYC elements to make the spirit of the season come alive for their wedding day! The one element the couple couldn’t control…the weather. Luckily it ended up snowing on their wedding day, creating the most picture perfect winter wedding!

For the couple’s wedding paper we wanted to keep the look classic and elegant, while sprinkling in some New York City and festive inspiration. So for the couple’s wedding monogram, we used a classic interlocking monogram transforming their initials into a work of art. If you’re familiar with the Bryant Park Grill, where both the ceremony and reception were hosted, you know that the outside is dripping in ivy. As a nod to their special NYC wedding location, we framed their interlocking initials with a wreath made of ivy. Such a special detail!
Their chic New York City wedding invitations were printed in gold foil on a thick, cotton paper with beveled edges painted in navy. We hired our calligrapher to write out Whitney and Taylor’s names (as well as other key details of their wedding suite) which truly gave their invitation an elegant twist! We finished the suite with the couple’s wedding monogram tied together with a rich, satin ribbon!
The couple’s wedding menus were tucked inside a navy pocket. The pocket acted as a place card, as each guest’s name was written in gold calligraphy! The pocket also provided the perfect pop of navy to the elegant white and gold place setting.
Guests traveled from all over the country, so Whitney and Taylor went all out for their New York City wedding welcome bags! In addition to a weekend itinerary, each bag contained NYC sweets, custom playing cards with their wedding monogram, and even a personalized crossword puzzle with fun facts about the couple!
