NAVY AND WHITE SOUTHERN PLANTATION WEDDING
Catherine and Jay’s navy and white southern plantation wedding at Upper Brandon Plantation was everything you dream of a southern wedding to be! It was classic, it was on the groom’s families’ plantation in Virginia, and magnolias and ginger jars were the theme throughout! We have worked with Catherine for years, as we helped brand the store Punch Boutique she now owns in Roanoke, Virginia, and she also throws all her friends every party under the sun! Many a Baby Shower, Bridal Shower, and Bachelorettes have been hosted by Catherine and she has come to us time and time again for all her invitations and swag! So when Jay proposed to Catherine, we could not have been more excited for her! For their southern plantation wedding, we came up with a gorgeous pattern of birds and magnolias, which Catherine knew she wanted throughout the wedding ceremony and reception. The pattern has an old world feel to it, that we thought went well with the tradition and grandeur of their venue; Virginia’s Upper Brandon Plantation which the groom’s father owns! The invitations were letterpressed in a classic navy, topped with an embossed custom wedding logo we designed, and edge painted. All pieces were mailed in a folio bearing the pattern, which was sealed with monogrammed labels. They turned out absolutely stunning! We also blind embossed the wedding programs and tied them with a dark french blue ribbon. Catherine’s bridesmaids were donned in the most gorgeous navy and white striped dresses by Shoshanna and they just make her wedding party photos! We love them so much! Guests danced the night away at this southern plantation wedding and were given their very own magnolia tree as wedding favors with a tag reading, “From Our Home to Yours!” It was everything Catherine and Jay wanted and was a night of celebration with their family and friends!
