SOUTHERN BACKYARD WEDDING WITH WATERCOLOR MONOGRAM
For Hailey and Isaiah’s southern backyard wedding, the vision was lush greenery, splashes of pastels, and a gorgeous hand painted watercolor wedding monogram. The wedding monogram featured the couple’s first initials surrounded by a beautiful crest of flowers and foliage. This set the tone for all the wedding paper goods; what we like to call traditional with a twist! The save the dates were adorned with the wedding logo and the couple’s names and wedding details. For Hailey and Isaiah’s wedding invitations, Hailey and her mother decided upon gray letterpress with a gorgeous leaf green beveled edge. The invitations were done in full script and topped with a vellum overlay showcasing a second version of the wedding logo! Since the reception was to be held in the bride’s parents backyard, a sketch of her childhood home was used on the reception card! We love using personal details such as this to make wedding suites one of a kind! After welcome drinks around the family’s pool, guests entered the tented backyard reception. Lanterns were hung throughout and the ceiling of the tent was absolutely dripping with greenery; it was stunning! Vintage blue glasses were set at each place setting along with a blush colored menu topped with the original watercolor wedding logo. Blue and white ginger jars were also an element sprinkled into the day of paper goods and tablescape! A tiny ginger jar was printed on each tented escort card which sat on table highlighted by a lovely chinoiserie vase filled with florals. This southern backyard wedding was what dreams are made of and we absolutely loved bringing Hailey’s vision to life!
