Toile Inspired Wedding
We have great news…not only is it Friday, but we also have the most gorgeous toile inspired wedding today on the blog for you all! Helen came to us really wanting something unique and classic. With a love of toile and being from St. Louis, we decided upon designing a navy toile using St. Louis landmarks! Toile is just one of those things that never goes out of style and is such a classic element! It turned out more beautiful than we could have ever imagined!
This toile inspired wedding started with the toile being used on the envelope liner of the wedding invitations and then was even used on her wedding cake! For Helen and Ian’s wedding logo, we created a monogram using their first initials and with the soon-to-be last name of Nightingale, we couldn’t help but incorporate two tiny nightingales! When Helen mailed her save the dates, she included stickers of her wedding logo for guests to mark their calendars in remembrance of the date! And how perfect is the banner on the save the date liner reading, “Meet me in St. Louis”?!
We absolutely love how her wedding cake used the pattern we designed! What a statement! We love seeing our brides’ creativity come to life and our works being used in the most imaginative ways!
Helen’s Oscar de la Renta gown was classic and absolutely gorgeous!
We love this monogrammed clutch the bride used on her wedding day with her new initials, which coordinated just perfectly!
We hope everyone had a wonderful week and is looking forward to a great weekend! It finally feels like summer in Chicago and I am sure a patio or two is in our future! As for Nashville..well, things are just nuts here! The Preds are in the Stanley Cup finals and it is also CMA Fest, so downtown has been bustling and packed with country stars and fans from all over!
