Last summer, we had the pleasure to help Mia and Greg design their lovely lavender Southern wedding! We love nothing more than when a bride and groom take traditional design elements and dress them up with a modern twist. Mia and Greg’s lovely lavender Southern wedding did just that! From beginning to end, Mia and Greg relied on Southern design and updated the traditional elements with a fun pop of color! Their wedding colors were various shades of purple, with a heavy reliance on the most perfect shade of lavender. Combined with the classic elements from their wedding design, their regal color-way really popped!! Take a peek below at more of Mia and Greg’s lovely lavender wedding day. It is TOO GOOD!!
From the beginning, Mia had a clear vision of her wedding invitation design. She wanted to highlight the different shades of purple, while keeping design traditional. She also wanted to add in some really special accents including a lavender ribbon. When designing, we made sure we included all her requests and then some! The final piece included thick paper, purple letterpress, and lavender beveled edges. We finished her wedding suite off with a luxe, lavender ribbon tied in a bow! Lastly, a monogrammed tag hung from the satin bow. Such a luxurious wedding suite!!
Since the lavender bow was such a hit on their wedding invitation suite, we knew we had to include it on their wedding program! We love the bow paired with their interlocking wedding monogram.
The couple loved their custom wedding monogram so much, they decided to include it on their wedding cake! We helped them with a gold cake-topper featuring their monogram that sat atop their cake. Such a special touch!
We love when a couple inserts their personalities into their wedding paper! Mia and Greg’s Basset Hound, Barney, made an appearance on their cocktail napkins. Such a cute idea! And it looked adorable when paired with their monogrammed napkin!
