Chic Floral Inspired Napa Wedding
Happy Wedding Wednesday! We have such a fabulous chic and floral inspired wedding today for you guys! If you follow us on social media, you will probably remember this wedding from last summer; because let’s be honest, how could you forget it?! Molly came to us wanting something totally different for her invitations. The branding began with a modern wedding logo using the bride and groom’s first initials. The vision was lots of bold colors, an abstract floral design, and overall a look that would turn heads. We love when a bride is wanting something unique and allows us to bring it to life!
We chose a teal color for the invitation background and layered watercolor inspired flowers in bright and bold shades. This allowed for the gold foil to really pop against it! The edges of the invitations were beveled and edged in gold as well, giving this avant garde wedding invitation its’ finishing touch! The reply cards were printed in the same abstract floral but with a white background to allow for guests’ writing to be shown, and paired with a lavender envelope.
This Napa Valley wedding and reception were held at Black Swan Lake, and the team at Bash Please transformed the outdoor area flawlessly! Farm tables were draped in lavender linens and each place setting had a menu topped with the couple’s wedding logo and printed in the same floral from the invitations. Place cards were written in gold hand calligraphy on tented cards.
Gorgeous bright florals inspired by wildflowers of the Napa region lined the center of the long farm tables!
Not only were the decor and branding chic and edgy, but so was THE DRESS. Molly wore a FLORAL wedding dress that left us jaw dropped! Each of Molly’s bridesmaids chose their own dress in different shades of purple and the look was stunning!
For the first time in N&L history, we designed a DANCE FLOOR. Molly wanted the reception to have a punch of the fun floral from the invitation and the dance floor took, well, center stage!! This was definitely one of the most notable aspects of this wedding, and we love the cafe lights draped above! Such a beautiful photo!
We also used the floral on a custom designed escort board! Each guest’s escort card was mounted alphabetically against the bold floral design.
Each guest was also welcomed with a “recovery kit” printed in the couple’s wedding logo, full of goodies for that morning after! And by the looks of the dancing and partying, we are sure these did not go to waste!

Also, Molly is the third sister from this family that we have had the pleasure of working with for their weddings! Make sure to see Sam’s Deer Valley, as we like to call it “mountain chic” wedding, and Kathleen’s Bahamas wedding bash here! All three are absolutely fabulous and each has such a different feel!

Nico and Lala
