Fortieth birthdays are always really fun for us to work on. Over the years, we’ve gotten to work on so many 4oth birthday parties with creative themes. We’re so lucky!! So when a client comes to us looking to create something special for a 40th birthday celebration, we get really excited!! So imagine our excitement when earlier this spring, Hannah contacted us to help her brand her husband’s 40th birthday event. Drew loves to golf, so to celebrate his birthday, Hannah decided to throw him a party centered around his favorite activity! In the morning, their friends and family enjoyed brunch at their country club. Brunch was followed by a round of golf for the guys attending the event. Such a fun way to spend your 40th birthday!! Check out pictures from Drew’s golf themed 40th birthday below!
Like any good party, our design began with Drew’s golf themed 40th birthday invitations. Inspired by the golf theme, we put a watercolor image of a golf course on each invitation. At the top of each invitation was a 40th birthday crest that, of course, included golf clubs. The golf themed birthday crest was the pefect way to brand Drew’s event, and appeared on many of the swag items for the day of the party!
To make Drew’s birthday really special, Hannah went above and beyond when it came to party swag. For the brunch portion of the day, Hannah ordered menus that sat at each guest’s seat. The menus were topped with Drew’s birthday crest, giving each menu a special touch! In addition to menus, Hannah also ordered koozies for guys to use out on the course.
As a surprise, Hannah hired Cigar Row Events to make an apperance at Drew’s birthday! Their team hand roll cigars on the back deck of the clubhouse for the gentlemen to enjoy. To make the cigar experience extra special, we designed branded matches and custom cigar wrappers. These items were the perfect finishing touch to this special surprise!!
Thanks to Hannah for letting us help make Drew’s birthday so special!! To see more pictures from Drew’s golf themed 40th birthday, check out his full gallery over on our celebrations page! Looking for more golf themed party inspiration? Be sure to check out Brian’s golf themed thirtieth birthday!
XO,
N&L
